Atilio Dell’Oro Maini is a Senior Partner in the Banking and Corporate Finance Groups. He has an extensive experience advising banks and other financial institutions, companies and governments on all types of domestic and international bank financing transactions. He also specializes in securities laws where he has represented for many years investment and commercial banks in relation to securities offerings made on both domestic and international capital markets. 

He was counsel to JP Morgan in the first sovereign bond offering made by the Republic of Argentina in 1991 and he continued acting for investment banks in various offerings and exchanges made thereafter at both the federal and provincial level. Mr. Dell’Oro Maini was also counsel for approximately 50 banks in the debt restructuring of the Banco Provincia de Buenos Aires in 1991. 

He holds a degree in political science (1983) and a law degree (1984) from the Argentine Catholic University Law School. He worked in New York at White & Case (1987) and Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP (1988 – 1989) and in the London office of Linklaters & Alliance (1997). He has been recommended as a leading lawyer in Banking and Finance in major legal directories such as Chambers Global. He is a law professor in the Master of Business Law at the University of San Andrés. Before joining CEKD, Mr. Dell’Oro Maini worked for 19 years at Cárdenas, Cassagne & Asociados.
