Since the privatization of the Argentine telecommunication industry in the early 90s, the telecom and technology arena has evolved rapidly. New regulation coupled with technological developments and the further opening of the Argentine markets to new players requires us to be updated in the latest changes to the law and regulation as well as to understand the specific industry needs.

We provide legal advice in connection with national and international communication transactions and regulation. Our practice includes advice with respect to telecommunications services, transmission of data, audio and image, space technology, telephone systems and equipment, television and radio broadcasting. At CEKD we play an active role in rendering legal services in connection with the interpretation and development of the current regulatory framework as well as in defining strategies to provide for an adequate legal structure applicable to a constantly evolving market.

We assist our clients in obtaining licenses from the Comisión Nacional de Comunicaciones (Federal Communications Commission) and to register computer manufacturing companies with the Dirección General de Desarrollo Industrial (General Directorate of Industrial Development).
