Foreign investments

At CEKD we provide a wide range of legal services to foreign clients that wish to invest in Argentina. We provide legal advice in areas as diverse as banking, capital markets, construction, media and entertainment, satellite and telecommunications, natural resources, automotive, insurance, electricity and gas distribution, food, spirits and beverages, among others.

We provide legal advice to foreign clients doing business in Argentina and help them design suitable corporate structures to run their operations in the country, including the formation of corporations, partnerships, branches, subsidiaries, licensed operations, joint ventures and the drafting and negotiation of contracts in connection with international business transactions and transfers of technology. Upon commencement of operations in Argentina, we provide legal advice and services on a daily basis to the local affiliate or branch, in connection with commercial, labor, tax, antitrust, environmental and corporate matters in general.

We represent clients on international business transactions, including international sale and purchase of goods and services, exports and imports, financing and leasing, international placement of securities, foreign transfer of technology, international arbitration and antidumping. One of our partners is a former Commissioner of the International Trade Commission in Argentina and authored several publications on international trade and antidumping.
